Our Story

Daralhayya was born from a dream shared between two sisters — grateful for who Allah made us, unapologetically proud of our colour, and deeply rooted in our faith.

As Black Muslim women, we grew up loving modest fashion, yet we constantly faced the same frustration: finding pieces that truly saw us. Too often, colour palettes seemed designed with only one skin tone in mind. We were told — directly or indirectly — that rich, deeper complexions were "harder" to match. We never believed that. We believe every shade of skin deserves colour that illuminates, flatters, and celebrates it.

So we stopped searching and started creating.

We built Daralhayya to prove that exceptional colour knows no boundary. Our pieces are designed to honour the full spectrum of beauty — from the richest ebony to the fairest porcelain and every beautiful tone between. We test every shade, every fabric, every finish to ensure that when you wear Daralhayya, you glow in a way that feels unmistakably you.

We did not set out to simply sell garments. We set out to build a space rooted in the spirit of Islam — one of grace, gratitude, and genuine sisterhood.
